Praia dos Cantos and Armaçao are the central beaches in Buzios, they are ideal to walk around at sunset and enjoy the stunning setting of the sun among fishing boats and luxury cruises. These beaches are very popular due to their closeness to a lot of restaurants, inns and shops. The beaches are not suitable for bathing because of the large amount of vessels concentrated in the ports.
If you wish to be in a quieter beach, where you can perceive the atmosphere of a typical Buzian fishing village, you should go to Praia dos Ossos, a small port of calm waters, which is near downtown but has a much calmer environment.
