Azeda and Azedinha are two quiet and small beaches at the northern end of the peninsula. You can go to both of them on foot, although you must enter praia dos Ossos to get to Paia Azeda. The waters that wash both coasts are calm and crystal-clear and thus, ideal for the practice of diving.
Next to them is Joao Fernandes beach, a large stretch of soft sand bathed by an emerald green sea. Just like its following beach, called Joao Fernandinho, there are a lot of roadside bars where you can relish yourself with delicious dishes of fish and seafood, surrounded by the picturesque inns and hotels that have a remarkable view of the sea.
