Praia Tartaruga takes its name from the turtles that usually appear in its waters. It is also very rich in corals and sea fauna. In the small shops by the sea you can have some fresh seafood dishes.
Tartaruga is a very popular beach, although it is a bit distant. You can only get there by car or by boat, and boat excursions frequently stop at this beach.
