The unbelievable microclimate of Búzios
The peninsula is also famous by its kind weather. The winds that blow, and its particular topography, makes Búzios an atypically Brazilian beach with almost no rain. When it's raining in Rio (less than 200 km far), you can be almost sure that in Búzios the sun is shinning. In fact, Búzios has twice more sunny days per year than Rio, and three times more than Angra dos Reis.
